WHY??

Why, why, WHY do I continually let myself be taken advantage of?? Why do I try to give a person even a little of my trust, only to have them do things to disrespect me and hurt me again and again??

WHEN will I reach a breaking point, just completely do something out of the ordinary for me and just finally lose my cool?? When is enough, enough???

Ugh. I hate this.

Hugs to you!!!

BTW, Blogrolling isn't working because of the new blogger. You can go to Blogrolling Ping
and update yourself. That's what I do.

Thanks for the hug, I needed one! I'm feeling very frustrated with someone close to me right now, and just had to vent a little, without going into a lot of detail.

And thanks for the tip about Blogrolling! I never realized you could do that. Bookmarked the Ping Form, and will try to remember to update myself now.

Ohhhh...just more drama with someone who's supposed to be my best friend. I'm still going over things in my head, I'll probably blog about it later, so stay tuned! (Sigh...)

Very sorry as well to hear that. No one likes to be taken advantage of. Hang in there, we tend to expect a lot from those we love the most, and they tend to get to us the most.
I'll trade places for the day if you come do my taxes... :)

I've felt the same way.. I solved the problem by just avoiding all other people...

Kidding..

It comes from an actually really good quality of taking people for their word and/or actions until they prove themselves otherwise. Unfortunately, when the otherwise comes, I usually get totally screwed over. I try to think of it as their loss because although I always end up forgiving them, it also means that they won't be getting much of a second chance.. I'm a great friend, but I'm one hell of an enemy..

Dallas: Yeah...I feel like such a doormat, ya know? I've heard that saying before...so true! Do your taxes?!? LOL No thanks, I'll let you handle all those receipts! :P

Burg: Actually, avoiding all other people has crossed my mind a time or two! LOL That's exactly what I do, too...I tend to take people at their word until they prove otherwise. Unfortunately, I'm doing some soul-searching, this friend of mine might be out of chances. I just don't know.

(((((((Mamakbear))))))))) I recently trusted another blogger only to be taken advantage of so I can relate. I think when we wear our heart on our sleeve and we want so much to see the goodness in people we open ourselves to be hurt and taken advantage of.

That sounds about right. It's no wonder I don't have many friends now. I find it difficult to trust people. This particular friend I've known for 10 years.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

(((MammaKbear))) I keep asking myself the same question in my life.

Hugs!
When we choose our friends we do so for the total sum of various reasons. The person you chose 10 years ago may or may not have grown with you. There are times when we have to look at any given relationship and ask ourselves,"Why are we in a relationship?" Sometimes we have to work on them; other times we simply need to let the relationship go. Because you are not the same person that you were 10 years ago - and neither is your best friend. Regardless, you deserve better, accept no less.

Chris: Thanks...for always understanding where I'm coming from. And for the hug too!

Katie: I know. Right now, I'm seriously considering just saying "To hell with it, I'm done!" Not as easy as it sounds though.
