More Cuteness from Meghan :)

Wow! Two posts in one day?? I know! I know! Now pick yourselves up off the floor where you just fell down in shock. LOL

I wanted to get this posted before I ended up offline for a bit, but I didn't get around to it. This is another short video of Meghan. She'd been having teething pains when I took this, even though we couldn't see any teeth breaking through. So we gave her an unwrapped popsicle to chew on...worked like a charm! Of course, since she does have SOME teeth already, we had to keep an eye out for potential leaks...by some miracle she never pierced the wrapping, and just went to town on the popsicle until it was liquid again. Anyway...enjoy! The lighting on this one is a LITTLE better.

LOL....Nah, I'm still here! You don't really think I'd move on from
blogging before the finalization of the adoption, do ya??? Heck no!

Hehehe...I'd much rather be without the phone than my internet! Hugs
back atcha!

I'm glad you posted. I was worried.

The thing with Mr.KB is weird. My mother in law had her identity stolen by her sister in law who had the same first and last name. It took her years to get it straightened out.

I can feel it. The adoption is near!!

Hi there! I saw your blog listed on "The Mom Blogs" and I had to come check out a fellow adoptive mother.

My husband and I have considered adopting a second child through the State but I'm concerned with the length of time it takes to be able to adopt a child through the foster-to-adopt program (we've been told it's up around 12-18 months) and the thought of having to return a child, after having them in our home and falling in love with them for many months, just terrifies me!

I'll have to read through some of your previous posts to see how things have gone for your family.

Overwhelmed!: Hi! I'm so glad you stopped by!

Fortunately, with our girls, we're not worried about having to say goodbye to them, since they are our nieces. We've had them since the baby was 3 weeks old, (we brought her home from the hospital) and the oldest was 2 1/2. They're now 4 and almost 22 months...so, yeah, the process can take awhile. I'm really hoping that we're done soon!

Some definite pros to adopting this way? For one you get a check every month for caring for the kids, and for two, the adoption doesn't cost you a thing since the State pays for it. BIG plus for us, since we'd never be able to afford a private adoption.
