Update

First, I had to turn of the anonymous comment option....I rarely ever had spam, and between yesterday and today I got 8 spam comments! Annoyed the hell out of me, so I did what I had to do.

This morning my MIL brought her kids over for me to watch while she went to work today. Before she left we were talking about the paperwork that we got to fill out...she adopted the two oldest kids that belong to my BIL, if you remember. Well, apparently she didn't have to do this stuff. The lawyer took care of ALL the paperwork, and all she had to do was go down to his office to sign things when it was all together.

Like I said before...it is the EXACT same paperwork we did when all this started. Makes no sense to me...why put us through it again when they have all the information they need already?? We're going to contact our lawyer that we've been talking to on and off about this case and see what he has to say. I'm betting he's gonna have a cow when he hears how our caseworker has been handling things!

Wish us luck....and by the way, I can't believe not one single person commented on the last post! That was BIG news! *sniff* and nobody cared?!?

*edit* Thank you Mamamel for your comment! It came while I was typing this post! Y'all...meet Mamamel...she is another foster parent I came across through MrsCoach's blog. :) (sorry I will link later!)

I'm glad you stop by! Did you see? I figured out the color for the black text I didn't like! I think it looks better now, don't you?

Mel: We are! :) Just got to get ahold of him. Last time we talked to him about it, there was nothing he could do until the separation of siblings stuff was completed. He's kinda hard to get ahold of on the phone. Bleh.

Glad to read things are moving forward for ya'll :-). Crazy train huh?. We are thinking about hopping on that train too. We are looking into the possibilities of becoming Foster Parents. Well, we are in real early stages(between us right now). Haven't contacted all the right People just yet. It's a big step and I want us to make darn sure this is what we can handle.

Oh Kali! Even before all this happened with brother-in-law's kids, we'd considered fostering. Have talked a bit about fostering other children once the girls are adopted, but we're not sure about that yet.

The thing about fostering, though, is you don't know what age you'll get...could be a brand new baby, could be a teenager! :) Good luck with whatever you guys decide!

Yes, I see you have the colour fixed...lol.. I need to do something new to mine too. However, I'm leaving the 21st for at least a month.... not sure I'll be able to get online at all while I'm out and about.... but I will take lots of pictures! ;)

Hello! I am finally posting but have been reading!
Glad things are going good, I can't believe you have to fill out the paperwork again though! That sucks.
We are not going to foster-this may sound bad, but I work with the Animal welfare society and fostered a puppy for about 4 days and I had a hard time giving him up. I cannot imagine having to give back a child!!!! Can't do it. We still really want to adopt and will probably try to go through Cherokee nation. I need to get this Math test over and done with before I can concentrate on anything.
Glad you are posting again! :)
