2nd Smoke-Free Day and Some Pictures

Well, I DID IT!! I made it through a whole day without a single cigarette! Thanks to the patch, which definitely seems to help. Thanks to all of you who left comments of encouragement and support, I REALLY appreciate it. On to Day 2!

Now, for some pictures!

There's a few more, but I'll post them another time. :)

Ah, but I don't get them back until Dec. 7th...that JUST gives me enough time to send some out with Christmas cards!

If it wasn't for my Mom I wouldn't have these at all...we don't have any extra money right now. Only have these to post 'cuz we bought the disk they offer.

Congrats on the 2nd smoke-free day! I hear the beginning days are the hardest.

Can I just say that I am TOTALLY jealous that your girls sat so nicely together? I just tried to do this with mine a few weeks ago. Did. Not. Go. Well.

At all.

They're just beautiful! Love that big baby laugh!!!

Just caught your comment on mine--I've been here quite a bit, actually, following the whole adoption/smoking saga. Hope the patch will work out for you--even though I think you're getting screwed over. Hang in there, and keep fighting! I'll continue to check up on you!

You have a beautiful family....

So glad you decided to quit smoking. I have never smoked, but I was 13 yrs old when my dad was quiting and I will never forget how hard it was for him. What worked for him was sucking on lemon drops. I decided if it was that hard to quit, that I would never start. It was a good decision.

My son smokes and it has him totally in it's grip. He can't seem to go more than a few hours without needing a smoke. He has absolutely no control over it now. I think I would go crazy if my body that that much control over me. It should be the other way around.

My husbands mother just had lung surgery because of her smoking. They had to cut out a small portion of her left lung. Something happened during the surgery and her vocal cords have been effected. She sounds like a totally different person now.

Keep up the good work. It will be better for you and your family. I know you can do it..Ask for a little devine help. Good luck.

Today will be three days without a cigarette. And so it goes. I will be hard but pretty soon you will be saying two weeks. Then two months then two years and so on. I know your going to do it.

Some of the other commenters have said it but I say it as well. The kids are really cute.
